Aluminum alloy die-casting process is an efficient and precise casting process, which injects high-temperature and high-pressure liquid metal into the mold, rapidly cools and forms aluminum alloy parts with good mechanical properties and surface quality. 1、 Process flow
The process flow of aluminum alloy die-casting mainly includes:
(1) Design mold: The aluminum alloy die-casting process requires that the shape and size of the castings produced meet industrial standards, so designing the mold is the first step. The design of molds should be based on actual needs, emphasizing complete design and simple structure, to ensure that the mold can achieve correct and accurate casting.
(2) Mold making: After completing the mold design, the mold is made according to the design drawing. Generally, the precision requirements for mold work are very high, and any deviation will seriously affect casting. In the process of mold making, there should be strict process requirements that match the actual situation. Before production, it is necessary to match the parameters with process planning and production requirements. Necessary quantitative management measures are a prerequisite for ensuring the stable dimensional accuracy of aluminum alloy parts in the mold.
(3) Equipment mold and parameter adjustment: The made mold needs to be installed on specific casting equipment for casting, and then the equipment parameters need to be adjusted to ensure the highest accuracy of the aluminum alloy parts completed during the casting process.
(4) Aluminum alloy material preparation: Before casting, it is necessary to prepare aluminum alloy materials that meet the requirements, commonly used ones include ADC12, A380, etc.
(5) Aluminum liquid injection: Pre melt aluminum alloy material and inject it into the mold. Before injection, precision measurement, temperature control and other steps are required to ensure casting quality.
(6) Mold cooling: The aluminum liquid in the mold is rapidly cooled and formed in a short period of time, and the cooling time and temperature are important factors affecting the quality of the workpiece.
(7) Aluminum alloy parts demolding: After the mold has cooled down, it is necessary to open the mold and remove the aluminum alloy parts formed by die-casting from the mold.
(8) Surface treatment: After removing aluminum alloy parts, a series of surface treatments such as trimming, precision machining, painting or spraying are required to meet the appearance and surface quality requirements of the parts.
(9) Inspection: Inspect aluminum alloy die-casting parts, including dimensional accuracy, appearance quality, defects, etc. After inspection, it can be determined whether the aluminum alloy die casting is qualified.
